STOP TAP TURNER
 
 

The cold water stop tap accessed through a hole in the back/base of a kitchen cupboard was very difficult for our client to access as this photograph demonstrates. Fitting a commercially available product such as a “SureStop” in the pipe work immediately after it would have been difficult and expensive.

 

A simple tap turner was constructed using 15mm copper tubing used for household plumbing, and an aluminium head for the four bolts which engage like fingers with the tap.  The tap turner will operate at an angle, and is long enough for the client to use it without having to crouch down.
